Our journey begins in the Maldives, which has the worst microplastic-pollution problem in the world. Millions of plastic water bottles are either openly burned on 'Trash Island' or escape into the sea. The situation can be solved with access to safe, clean drinking water for all...including 1.88 million+ tourists/year.
